I would like to compliment the Aquaguard Waterproofing team on the work they completed on my house. Every aspect of the waterproofing process was professional and exceeded my expectations. The foreman and his team excelled on the challenging project of waterproofing my basement while adding a structural footer. All members of the Aquaguard team were available to answer my various questions which helped keep me comfortable, happy, and informed during the waterproofing process. I will be recommending Aquaguard to my home owning friends and family.

I elected to use Aquaguard after obtaining quotes from three other companies. I discussed my water problems with my Long and Foster realtor and friend. After meeting with Aquaguard I contacted with them because they could service my home immediately. They offered a dry basement guarantee for two thirds the price of the competition. We have since sold the home and the new owners are happy with the system

I contracted AquaGuard Waterproofing Corporation of Beltsville Maryland to install an interior perimeter drainage system, repair 3 wall cracks, clean and coat my walls with a cement-based coating. Instead, they gave my job entirely to an unlicensed, subcontractor (won't find they do that in their ads nor was I told so by their sales rep) who was totally incompetent, disreputable, and destroyed my basement putting in a dysfunctional drainage system, failing to repair the cracks and, worst yet, coating my interior walls with 700 square feet of exterior roofing tar! When I complained to AquaGuard Waterproofing Corporation directly they tried to convince me several times that it was all OK, that I should live with it, etc. In the end I was forced into arbitration but was awarded over $50,000 in damages on a contract worth less than $19,000. AquaGuard argues it was all a simple slip up on their part and all the fault of the subcontractor. Their sworn depositions and hearing testimonies, however, tell a radically different story. They used the same guy, who was not only disreputable but also unlicensed, on several other jobs prior to mine. I tried to work with about half a dozen AquaGuard employees and found all of them deceptive, to put it mildly. Far from being a simple mistake, as they will claim, I believe this was the inevitable outcome of a company that plays fast and loose with the laws and rules of Maryland and engages in highly questionable business practices at all levels.

This is to say thank you for a job well done. After years putting off having my basement office waterproofed, I finally had Aquaguard come out this winter. The true test has been the spring thunderstorms we've been getting. After the first thunderstorm this spring, I checked my office and it was dry! Now when I hear the crack of thunder I no longer dread going downstairs to find water on my floor. I can rest assured of my office being dry. I wish I had this done years ago. I would be happy to recommend your service to anyone wishing to fix a wet basement.
