Description of Company/Services
Ark Angels Pet Care was created in July 2002 from my deep love and passion for animals. We provide in home pet sitting and midday dog walks in most of Wake County,NC. We are Vet recommended and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.
After many years of work in the corporate medical field, I grew frustrated and didn't feel fulfilled. In June of 2001, I wrote a letter to God and asked for clarity and guidance and mentioned that I love animals and would love to work with them! When I lost my corporate job 2 days later, I knew my prayers had been answered!
When I started this business in July 2002, I knew it had to be professional and highly respected with careful attention to details and to the quality of care we provide to your furry and feathery family members. We realize that you are allowing us inside of your sacred circle of trust and we respect that.
Ark Angels Pet Care is licensed, bonded and insured. We service Raleigh,Wake Forest,Cary,Apex,Garner and Clayton N.C.
Some of our staff is experienced with insulin injections for dogs and cats as well as administering sub cutaneous fluids. We provide a variety of services including visits for our clients who travel, mid-day dog walks, pet taxi service, experienced care for kitties, birds and small mammals.
Our service is priced by the number of animals and our visits are 30 minutes in length or longer. In addition, I am a 3rd-degree Reiki Practitioner and am happy to offer Reiki sessions to our clients' pets.
I have seen some wonderful results in an animal's ability to accept Reiki energy work with the positive outcome resulting in happier and more comfortable pets.

Ark Angels Pet Care is an excellent pet sitting service. I have been a customer for about a year and have had a great experience with them. I never have to worry about my animals or my home when I am out of town. I even get little text/photos of my animals (optional - I chose to receive text/photos). I would definitely recommend them as they not only provide great care but leaves you with a peace of mind while on vacation or at work.

I have been using Ark Angels pet care to look after our cats when we travel. The woman Ark Angels has assigned to care for the cats really loves them and is very reliable. Ark Angels Pet Care was highly recommended to me by two friends who needed care for their pet cats (one with special needs). I recently requested care for my dog, Charley over this past Thanksgiving holiday. Nancy Stevens, owner of Ark Angels quickly responded to my request. Christie Smith was the caregiver for Charley.
