"A real find! I no longer worry that something may go wrong with my computer--I know I can call Dallas (and I have, many times). He comes on time, works efficiently, and gets the job done right the first time. He lets you know what he's doing and why, and what you might want/need to consider for the future. And his rates are reasonable (though he does have a two-hour minimum). If you have any computer issues, do not hesitate to call Dallas. You'll be glad you did."

You bring up a good point about my 2 hour on site minimum. My hourly rate is 80 an hour so my minimum charge is 160 for up to 2 hours of service. When you compare to some of my competitors who charge anywhere from 109 to 135 for a single hour my minimum doesn't seem so daunting. Add in the fact you are hiring someone with 12 years of residential and corporate experience in addition to 3 industry certifications it's hard to beat. Try finding that with the national chains. It's rare that I don't have at least 2 hours work with an on site call. My customers often are amazed at how detailed I am, especially on my first trip to a site. I routinely find things that can be changed or upgraded that the customer didn't even think about. I also offer carry in service for those who would like the carry in rate of 50 per hour with no minimum. Issues that aren't specific to the home can be performed in this manner.

Thank you for taking time to post a review for me. It's been nearly 15 years since I did my first job for you and it's been a roller coaster ride. We've built, upgraded, and moved around 4 custom desktops plus a laptop. We've been through four different Windows operating systems starting with 2000 and now 7. Name the issue and we've been over it whether it was virus, power, wireless, or anything in between. You are by far my longest tenured customer and have become a family friend. It's rare you invite a client to your wedding and they actually show up but our relationship is the exception to the norm. It has been my pleasure to meet your technology needs over such a long period of time and I look forward to working with you again soon.

"Dallas Smith of Certified Computer / Network is by FAR the best independent computer expert / technician I've ever had work on both my laptop and desktop computers. Apart from being cordial, punctual and enormously helpful in addressing my computer questions and concerns, his professional experience and expertise is always in evidence, whether in helping me to solve a computer problem or, as he did with my new desktop, in working with me--patiently and thoroughly--to literally "build" my new computer online. He listened to MY needs and priorities and now I have a customized desktop ( WITHOUT unnecessary "bells and whistles" but 100 TIMES BETTER and FASTER than my previous desktop! ) designed for my specific needs. Dallas is the man I will ALWAYS call for any and all of my compueter needs. Best of all, he delivers genuine, measurable value for his reasonable hourly service costs--and that would STILL be true in my opinion at TWICE THE PRICE!!
