"We called James A. Wheat because of all the many good reviews on Google. Which I now believe are a complete farce. SITUATION: copper piping at elbow joint and two pieces of piping approximately 3 long needed to be replaced due to leaking/corrosion. Just a teeny minor drip, not like we had water pouring into our home by the buckets. Also, we wanted a toilet removed and the new one installed (which was here waiting for the plumber). QUOTED COST TO REPAIR: $861.00. OUTRAGEOUS for the amount of minimal work required. Or, we were offered $6 discount if we decided not to go with their $135 service plan, which gives you a 15% discount. I m no mathematician, but this sounds like a scam. After my husband made it very clear that we were not interested, he said well, I could take 100 bucks off. OUTCOME: Went to Home Depot, bought the parts for $120 to do it ourselves. Technician was pleasant, but what a complete a total RIP OFF!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL ROB/ATTEMPT TO ROB YOU BLIND"
