"Woke up with water on my kitchen and wet cabinets. I suspected a leak but couldn't locate it. Plumbing makes anyone nervous. I called Jeeves and they sent out Jimmy who was here in less than an hour. He ran a quick diagnosis and realized the problem was a leaky faucet -- a quick and easy (and inexpensive) fix. He was thorough, honest and very accomodating. I would definitely recommend Jeeves (and Jimmy). He replaced the faucet and the job was complete in a couple of hours. Great Stuff! Chris G."

"do not provide free estimates"

Dear Sir,

I apologize if you feel that we do not provide free estimates, but in fact we do. Typically for jobs that are common and we know how long they will take, we provide a free phone estimate. Many projects that we do are very common problems and so there is no need to send someone out just to take a look. However, for larger projects we absolutely do send out a technician free of charge.

Perhaps there was a miscommunication when you called us, but we would love for you to let us know what your project is so that we can further assist you.

"I called Jeeves the other day with an emergency. Some pipe in my kitchen burst and water was going all over.I thought it would cause a ton of damage, but when I called Jeeves, they sent someone out right away to take care of it! Needless to say, I got a great deal, was very pleased with how quick and efficient they were, and kept the damage to my kitchen at a minimum! I highly recommend them. "

"I am very pleased with the bathroom re-modeling job that Jeeves Handyman Services did for me 2 weeks ago. I had several different companies come out for estimates and Jeeves was definitely the best price by a long shot! They were able to start almost right away and they finished in about 5 days, which was even quicker than they had anticipated! I was so thrilled with the end result that my wife and I are seriously considering having the do our master bathroom next. I would seriously recommend them if you want above satisfactory results."

"$90.00 hrs. with a minimum of 3 to 4 hrs to fix a toilet (flange and wax ring?) WAY too much. What do you all think? "

Dear Madam,

I am sorry if you feel that our prices are too high, however $90.00 per hour for a licensed, bonded and insured plumber in the metropolitan area is actually below average. Also, we do not have a 3 to 4 hour minimum, we were merely stating that given the fact that we do not know the condition of your sub-floor and other possible extenuating circumstances that may occur with your particular bathroom based on what you explained, it could possibly take 3 to 4 hours. If everything were to go smoothly, then it would not.

We do apologize for the miscommunication. We had hoped that you would have found our rates reasonable, particularly considering that you would have been able to apply your service alley coupon as well. Hopefully you understand now that this was merely a miscommunication over the phone and that you will consider using us in the future. Thank you.

"They charged for 2.5 hours, although their work was done in less than 2 hours. The work done by them was also not good."

I am sorry to hear that you feel as though your invoice was not properly calculated. If there was any sort of discrepancy, the customer service team here at Jeeves would be more than happy to re-evaluate and see if there is anything we could have done. The best thing to do in a situation like this is to contact the office, as we always try to make things and smooth and simple as possible for our clients, while being fair to everyone in the situation.

As for the quality of work, we stand behind all of our technicians and guarantee their work. Once again, if there was a problem with a job that was done, the customer service team here is always ready to help remedy the situation.

"I had an awesome experience with jeeves handyman! they took care of a bunch of little things around my house (my wife was thrilled) and just did a really great job. the guy that they sent out was really good and was just an overall great guy. he even made some suggestions on some things i could maybe do myself to save a little money- which was great that he wasn't just some money-hungry guy working for a money-hungry company! i trusted him and i will definitely be calling them back next time my wife decided she needs something fixed!"

"Save your money. Guy arrived on time and was very pleasant. However, I had 3 tasks for him to do. He was only able to successfully do 1 of them. The other 2 were not completed. They have a 2 hr minimum, so I paid $180 for the one task that took him 30 minutes. Forget it!"

"AWFUL; Had to double check their work as it was obvious they hadn't. I wanted my downspouts unplugged, which were plugged after they entered the ground. The serviceperson said he knew they were unplugged since "he looked". I had to drag a hose around the house and double check each one. Had they asked me for the hose to check their own (assumption), I would have gladly provided. All in all, he spent 20 minutes working and I had to spend 1/2 hour with him double checking each one. Where do I get to send my bill? Postnote: Afterward the manager called me up and proceeded to insult me because I wouldnt change my opinion. He thought I was being to strict expecting the service person to verify beyond "looking" that the underground pipes were unplugged."

Dear Christopher,
Unfortunately, it is unclear to us why there is any problem with the work performed at your property. Allow me to go over the facts:
1. Our technician was on time
2. Our technician cleaned the debris out of the gutters (leaves, sand, dirt, etc) these gutters were not cleaned for years.
3. Our technician cleaned all downspouts from the debris and did verify that they were clear by removing the bottom of the downspouts to check on the drainage and look for possible blockages
4. Our technician informed you, the customer, that the job was complete and you checked the work and admitted it was done correctly
5. When talking to the manager, you admitted that everything was completed.

Ultimately, by your own admission, the job was finished successfully. It is unclear as to what your complaint is at this point. Jeeves Handyman Services fulfilled each part of their work agreement. Initially, we even offered to send out another technician because you had made it sound like we did not complete the job, and then you told that manager later that it was, in fact, finished. We are merely confused as to what more you would like for us to have done. It is very disconcerting to us that you would feel the need to critique us negatively online when everything was completed successfully and efficiently. While we have no problem with feedback, positive or negative, we would prefer that comments be based on facts rather than fabrications. Thank you.

"Claudio did a fantastic job on my carpentry project. I had a vision and he made it happen. He was so efficient, fast working and skilled - I was in awe and the finished job actually exceeded my expectations. He was a pleasure to work with and I plan to have Jeeves back to complete my "Honey Do" list. "
