"Hired Larkin Remodelers for bathroom and kitchen upgrades in January 2011. Company was a breath of fresh air! Work was done on time, workers and Mr. Larkin were all professional in appearance and quality of work was fantastic. I would highly recommend Larkin Remodelers to my friends and family. "[I also posted to Yelp and Google Maps.] I just moved to Texas and am renting out my Virginia home to two tenants, and I am not using a property manager. Three weeks after leaving, there was a pipe connected to the hot water heater that burst in the basement, completely flooding an ~800 square foot space and doing significant damage to surrounding drywall. I called this company called Service Magic (they set you up with appropriate companies), and within 10 minutes, Larkin Remodelers was calling me telling me they were on their way to the house. 15 minutes later they were there and had assessed the situation. This was in the early evening, and my tenants had no heat or hot water, so it was important that action be taken quickly. Larkin Remodelers took care of everything very quickly. The carpet was pulled up, padding removed, and dryers put in place within a couple hours of my original call. The next morning, the hot water heater was replaced and the heat restored. A couple weeks later (after insurance cleared the work), drywall was replaced/repainted so that it looks exactly like it did before the incident (I was able to see the house a few weeks after the repairs were done). The most important part was the amount of stress that this company took off my shoulders. Larkin Remodelers knew exactly how the insurance process would go and explained everything to me step by step... better than the actual insurance company did. Whenever I had any questions over those few weeks, they were very responsive to both email and phone calls. I highly recommend Larkin Remodelers. I can't imagine having a better experience than I did in that situation."

"We had extensive wind damage to our roof. Derek gave us a free inspection and estimate. He explained all the kinds of damage, what caused it, and what he could do to prevent it from reoccurring. His inspector used chalk to circle the places on the roof with damage and we took photos to create a compelling reason why our insurance company should pay to have the wind damaged shingles replaced. We had to argue with Erie for 8 weeks, but with Derek's help, they finally agreed to replace the roof, in the face of overwhelming proof and threats of complaints to the Virginia Corporation Commission, Bureau of Insurance. The estimate was fair and comparable to other companies in the area with equally high ratings from BBB, and Angie's List. The material was delivered ahead of schedule, work began on time, and finished ahead of schedule. The quality of work was exceptional and our roof now looks beautiful. Because he holds a Master Roofing certification from Certainteed and GAF, we were able to get a limited lifetime warranty on the shingles. I would recommend Larkin Remodelers, LLC to anyone."

"KITCHEN REMODELING: I called Larkin Remodelers to get an estimate on Remodeling my Kitchen. I was very hesitant about using them since their pricing was about 10% higher than the other 2 estimates we recieved. Larkin's kitchen designer (DALE) insured me that the service and the quality of workmanship justified the extra cost. They completed the entire job on time and I love my new Kitchen. These guys delivered and Larkin Remodelers llc. are my contractors from here on out!! "

"Larkin came right out to my house after a tree fell and hit our roof. They placed a large tarp on my roof within an hour until my insurance company could come out and inspect the damage. They met my insurance adjuster and Larkin handled all of the back and forth negotiations with my insurance company. They rebuilt my roof and then repaired the inside damage as well. My house looks amazing and the work was finished in a timely manner. I can't say enough how they took a tremendous amount of stress of me and my family, especially being a single parent."

"Had an appointment with Larkin to come give us an estimate on 2 bathroom remodels. Not only did they never show up, presumably due to the storm, but they never called to cancel, apologize or reschedule. How's that for service? ... in response to your accusation, my review is not fraudulent. The appointment was made by my husband - Casey Swindler - which is why I do not show up in your VOIP system. "

We are in the wrong we did miss this customer. We got way behind and overwhelmed with all the recent calls from the storms. We dropped the ball by not calling. This isn't how we normally conduct business. Our other reviews speak for themselves.

"Our roof was damaged in the Dercho and Larkin met the insurance adjuster to make sure all work was documented. I also liked that they took responsibility for missing the Swindlers appointment."
