"In a world of uncertainty this company says what they mean and they mean what they say. I travel frequently in my profession and I needed to have my lawn cared for by a company that would fulfill all promises made at the outset. Each time I come home from travel I can count on seeing a pristine lawn, manicured hedges and an overall area that is a pride of the neighborhood. Money well spent, trust given . . . This company is worth the time it takes to make the phone call."

"We want you to know how satisfied we were with the lawn work you did. We were putting our house on the market for sale and needed the lawn improved. You and your workers did a great job mowing, trimming hedges, adding beautiful flowers at our front door, pllnting a new tree near steps to our patio. You really had our lawn looking good and enhanced the appearance of our home."

"We have never worked with a more incompetent landscaper. The first time they came they forgot to bring their mowing equipment, and they made a major error in the landscaping we had hired them to do. We followed with several days of struggle, finally got our lawn half-heartedly mowed, but the owner contstantly tried to blame us for their mistakes and charge us more to correct them. STAY AWAY!"
Property owner wanted job done ASAP so we sent a crew to begin the work with the knowledge that we would return to complete the mowing. Also, the property owner wanted an area seeded which had 6-8" of nugget mulch there. We advised that it would be an additional charge for top soil to fill the depression from where the mulch was. The customer wanted the top soil and labor for free. We could not perform the work for free but we did split the cost of the top soil and supply the labor to install the soil for free.

"They did not do what they said in the ad (get your lawn raked) also the mulching job I acquired from them was terrible (already used mulch), and they had asphalt in the mulch they laid in my flower beds. Never again will I use there service."
Very perplexed by this homeowner. We performed on time and performed the service to the satisfaction of the customer and he provided payment in full to my crew foreman. Six weeks later the homeowner called and wanted more work done for free. The deal was for one service which was professionally rendered which is evidenced by the payment in full immediately upon completion.
We can not be held hostage by threats of negative feedback to exhort additional work for free.
This is our first year, out of 26 years in the industry, performing "deal" services. What we have found is that many people want much more than what the deal calls for and if you don't give away free services they leave negative feedback.

"I wanted a landscaper not just "day laborers" which is what I got.I wanted advice on improving my backyard which has a lot of trees and doesn't grow grass well. What I got was 2-3 laborers for 2 hours they said was worth $450! The fertilizer was thrown by hand! Scheduling was also a nightmare.....no follow up either. ....would not recommend. Not only bad service but liars also (but with a 46% rating no surprise here)....they have an excuse for everything. They never informed me of anything nor advised me of anything...since then I have had another "landscaper" come out and provide professional service....grass is growing in the back now...what a surprise!!"
Our crews are not day laborers they are uniformed tax paying crew personnel. It says a lot about a person whom classifies others simply by their nationality.
We advised the homeowner that grass probably would not grow in the back yard because of the trees but he became angry because we couldn't guarantee that grass would grow in the shade. Go figure. We are landscapers not miracle workers. this yard looked like it had not been serviced in years. You need more than a basic deal package to fix these major problems.

"I would really like to leave a review for Scrubnik but they have not called me back after several attempts to set up an appointment for my service. Therefore they get a thumbs down. I have paid for the service and called them three times. Once I received a call back for a description of my yard and then a promise on their end to call me back. This was three weeks ago and they have not responded to my repeated calls since then. I certainly hope Service Alley can help but they too have seemingly ignored my request for assistance. Not sure what is going on here..."
Hi there Lawrence. As you were notified when you initally called, the turn around time for these services is 4-6 weeks. Longer if we have a number of rainy days. If you leave a message with our answering service your call will be returned within 24 business hours.

Yes, we notified you that we do not service your area at this time nor was your are included in the service alley deal. We make very little if anything off of these deals which is why our service are is so small. See the map.
While I advised you to call service alley for a refund, I am not in a position to refund your money because you didn't pay us you paid service alley. I also told you that I would speak with service alley if you had any problems getting a refund but you never called me back for assistance.
I know that the deal which was offered on service alley was a great deal but we can not travel for hours to perform a $149 service. Sorry!!

"Horrible experience. I called them to schedule in early May and was told they would call me back in a few days. Waited 2 weeks and called them back and they said they would be out in my area the week of 5/23. May came and went...no call from Scrubnik. I called and left a message. They didn't return my call. Week later, called and left another message. They didn't return my call. Still waiting... I'm guessing they are hoping I'll just forget about it. Never dealt with a business like this before. I complained to Service Alley last week and today they have agreed to refund my money. We'll see."

"AWESOME service. Spring is a time when everybody wants service immediately. We were patient because the weather also effects how and when landscapers can work. When they came out they worked very professionally, never took time off and I was amazed at how quicly they completed the many tasks we asked of them. The landscapers had great attitudes and did everything we asked of them despite the gnats and mosquitoes that were flying all over the place because it had been years of little upkeep with old growth vegitation. Highly recommend!!!!"

"The advertisement said that would rake yard and seed. They did not rake and they hand seeded the yard. Scrubnik landscape do not own a spreader or rakes."

"First, I'm not sure "on time" works for the previous reviewer. They literally provide 9 hour windows if you want to use their service. Next, their customer service and management is absolutely awful. They're worst than waiting for a cable guy - because their customer service folks (aka their manager) is quite possibly the rudest person I've ever had to speak to about business"

"I paid in advance for landscaping work. I called Scrubnik multiple times to schedule my appointment and never received a call back. In order to receive my money back, I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. I would never waste my time with Scrubnik. "
