"I have been using Green Mop for several months now, and they consistently do an excellent job. Everything, especially the bathroom and floors, looks spotless when I come home! The two ladies that arrived and cleaned our house did a surprisingly amazing job. We have a med - large house with 10 rooms and 3 bathrooms. Both women arrived on the dot at 10:30 and finished by 2:30. The cleaning was deep and obviously quick, and I highly recommend them. An added bonus was the non-cleaner scent that permeated the house when they were done. Of course 1/2 the battle with a cleaning service is working out the logistics. All the rest is how they actually clean. They did both, well. Added bonus, of course, they don't use harsh chemicals. I was very pleased with the work of the Green Mop. The employees were professional, thorough, and fast. And they use green cleaning products, which is important to me. "

"The Green Mop team did an awesome job today at my home! I have a very small row house in NE, DC and have 2 dogs, 1 baby and a house that needed cleaning, so obviously need help! They came out just this morning and got here right on time at 8:30am, the team of 2 was here for 3 hours and were able to have my place spic and span and was very surprised when a man showed up at the door to clean! I will definitely be recommending you at my mother's group. Thanks Green Mop! "

"Got my first cleaning by the Green Mop. They set to work right away and I left them to it while I did yard work. They did a great job, cleaning things I didn't think they would get to, and leaving everything smelling fresh and looking clean. Our whole house, done by two cleaners, took 2 hrs. 20 mins. And they used no harsh chemicals. I'll use them again. "

"Dear Green Mop: Rudy and Maria just left my apartment after a four-hour cleaning assignment, a tremendous amount of work on their part. I want to thank you for sending them. They not only did an extraordinary job, but under difficult circumstances. There was a longstanding need for housecleaning here, and as a disabled person, I could not begin to do the job myself. They worked very hard, cleaned behind every corner. The place is small, so there was little room to maneuver. They left the place looking better than I could possibly have imagined. I immediately complimented The Green Mop today on Twitter, facebook and Yelp. I also mentioned you to a local neighborhood group I know, but they already knew about you and agreed with me--you're great! "I purchased a coupon through Living Social for cleaning services. I have never had my house professionally cleaned before. The Green Mop was extremely communicative regarding scheduling and the arrival of the cleaning crew (2 people). They were on time and brought their own cleaning materials. I asked them to pay special attention to the blinds as they were admittedly dusty, which they were happy to do. Two women cleaned my 3 story townhome from top to bottom in 2.5 hrs. My house SPARKLES!"

I've never used a cleaning service before the Green Mop, partly because I have high housekeeping standards, and also because I try to avoid chemical cleansers. "i had my place clean by the green mop about 5 weeks ago the job was well done,BUT when i got home i discover that the $100. that i had left in my dresser were missing talk about a small world 5 weeks later i found out that a friend of mine also used the green mop and the same day that the green mop clean her apt her ipod went missing we never found out what happen and we will probably never know the only thing i can say is the 2 items went missing the day that the green mop clean our places. "

8/18 - UPDATE! - We found out who this is! We were able to track this back to an office employee we fired for stealing money from us. Ironic that she is trying to create a fake review about stealing money! See how bad her grammar and punctuation is - that was the first clues.
I wasn't going to call the police on her since she is so young and it will ruin her life to have a record but if she persists to pull stunts like this we will call the police and have her arrested. We have her on videotape stealing over $300 in cash at one time and are reviewing the past tapes to see how many other times she stole money. I know she thinks she's cute to try and damage us by writing fake reviews but she will be the one to pay the ultimate price if we catch her doing this again. I know she is stupid and doesn't know her IP address is traceable back to her home. So now we have her on tape with the money in her hand and we have this fake slanderous review - when do you want us to call the police?
OLD- First I need to know who this is so we can see if this is a legitimate accusation. So instead of writing slanderous comments on a web site under a hidden name- you need to contact us and identify yourself.
We clean 12,000 homes a year for 5 years (60,000 homes) and we have been accused of theft 6 times prior to this accusation. In those 6 times the client responded back that they found their camera, their iphone, their necklace, etc. afterwards - they felt real foolish after calling us thieves. Our workers make $500-$1,000 a week so they aren't going to steal an ipod or $100 - pretty ridiculous as we do a thorough investigation and they will get terminated if we can't prove their innocence - we lean on the side of safety and assume the client is right.

"We're quite sensitive to chemicals and strive to keep our bodies as clean internally as we can - organics, eco-friendly products, etc. but I never thought I'd find cleaners that did the same thing!
