Posted in Remodels January 30, 2011. 0 Comments.
This home was a huge project! New: bath, kitchen, wiring, washer/dryer, heaters, roof, rafters, roof decking, sub-flooring, plumbing, windows, new appliances, flooring, tongue in groove paneling, new loft/reading area, new doors, new insulation (R-19 and R-9 foam), new t1-11 siding, solid color stain, trim, etc., etc.
"A picture says more than a thousand words!" This home was ready for the bull-dozer, and we brought her back, replete with many creative design features and artistic touches in keeping with the Bear's Den theme!
Now, park rangers and nature enthusiasts may enjoy communing with nature on the five acre, mountain-top residence, backing to the Shenandoah National Park. Easy access into the park, via the Powell Mountain Trail.
Monthly guests and annual residents may visit http://www.BruceMoose.com/rentalhomes.html for rental information.
We know the Shenandoah National Park and have a lot of information on things to see and do in the Shenandoah Valley.
